“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:12
In light of Ecclesiastes 4:12, FUEL Youth seeks to reflect the strength of a “cord of three strands” by prioritizing the development of a mature partnership amongst three distinct parts: SELF, OTHERS, GOD.
WHY "FUEL" Youth?
For many reasons, but first:
F-orever U-nited E-ternally L-it.
Second, fuel is a substance that holds the potential to energize a system into operation. Our youth “fuel” each other and the Harvest Church body as a whole.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12
We believe when a child has completed their time with HCKids Children’s Ministry, they possess a maturity of faith great enough to be CONVERTED into FUEL.
